Most burners of this type tend to be ceramic as they conduct heat extremely well. A tealight is lit underneath the well of the burner where the wax melt sits and the heat from the flame melts the wax and releases the scent into the air.
The scent is released rapidly as the flame is instant but it can burn quite hot initially and then start to fade as the tealight reduces down. This can mean a very strong scent throw initially that will fade down a little and can sometimes use up your wax more rapidly.
How to use
Place melt in dish on top and place a lit tealight at the bottom of the warmer. Ensure that warmer is kept out of reach of children or pets and is in an area that doesn’t receive too much draught.
Never leave a lit candle unattended and never burn for longer than 4 hours.
